In 2011, Shelton decided it was time to change his life for the better. He got a gym membership and started working out every day. Every time he went to the gym, he noticed a certain logo on shaker cups, T-shirts and towels. That logo was the NUTRISHOP® logo. Intrigued, he inquired about it.
“I wanted to be a part of whatever this Nutrishop thing was,” Shelton said. “I was directed to Nutrishop Hendersonville, where I was welcomed with open arms. I invested in supplements and vitamins to help with my journey and quickly reached my goals. In two years, I became a sponsored athlete with Nutrishop and had a closet full of those T-shirts that once intrigued my curiosity.”
After relocating to a different state, Shelton discovered a NUTRISHOP® store was opening next to his new place of work. After yet another move a few towns away, he discovered a NUTRISHOP® pro-shop inside the gym he joined.
“It’s like I was being haunted by Nutrishop!” Shelton joked.
The haunting turned out all right in the end because it was at the pro-shop in his gym that he met his future wife (they’re currently engaged). Fast forward a bit more to Shelton opening his very own NUTRISHOP® store in Lexington, KY on June 1st, 2020.
“Nutrishop has directed my path from day one – by helping me learn about being healthy, by allowing me to become a part of the Nutrishop ecosystem, by getting me to meet owners who then became my friends, and by leading me to my future wife,” Shelton said. “Owning a Nutrishop store was the smartest decision for me, considering all the blessings just being around it has brought into my life.”
